Weld Cell Operator
Maintain and Operate CNC Robotic Welder for the first step in trailer fabrication.
Location : Mesquite, TX
Schedule : 6A M-4 : 30 PM Monday-Thursday, with occasional overtime as needed.
Pay rate : $18 per hr
Duties :
- Ability to read and decipher engineering prints to a high degree of accuracy
- Responsible for the set-up and operation of robotic welding equipment
- Responsible for minor machine maintenance (changing out consumables)
- Cleans and maintains work area according to 5S program every day
- Responsible for quality of product produced in his / her work area
- Material handling duties are required
- Performs quality inspection of welds
- Communicates clearly, promptly, and openly
- Keeps supervisor apprised of issues related to daily performance
- Maintains discipline and a safe working environment
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Must be willing to be cross-trained in all areas of production
- Must be punctual, responsible, and reliable
- Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs., up to 65 lbs. occasionally
