Duties/Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.
- Perform tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function; ensures that all critical parts are examined.
- Communicate additional service requests to service advisor.
- Diagnose, inspect, adjust, and/or repair RV’s, living quarter horse trailers, cargos, and flatbed trailers.
- Be able to locate and repair frayed wiring, broken connections/incorrect wiring, using electrical test meters and hand tools.
- Repair plumbing, electrical, appliance, propane gas line, and use caulking compounds and plastic and copper pipe.
- Complete work order line items – Evaluate trailers and determine the nature and extent of damage/repair.
- Examine and test operation of parts systems to ensure repairs are completely successful.
- Test electrical systems by internal or external power source to be able to confirm all appliances, lights, switches, and motors are operational.
- Test water systems including fresh and waste water to ensure all systems are operating as intended.
- Accurately track parts used on work assignments
