Adjunct Nursing Faculty Opportunities at Midway University
Midway University invites applications for Adjunct Nursing Faculty positions in the School of Health Sciences to teach in both undergraduate and graduate programs. We seek highly qualified and motivated educators who are committed to academic excellence and the professional development of our students.
Position Responsibilities:
Adjunct Faculty members are expected to:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in face-to-face and online course formats.
- Employ effective instructional strategies and techniques tailored to undergraduate or graduate teaching.
- Engage students in research or professional experiences, as appropriate.
- Participate in University activities that align with the institution’s mission.
- Demonstrate a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive academic environment.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s degree in the discipline (or 18 graduate credit hours in the field) from a regionally accredited institution.
- Successful candidate must hold an active, unencumbered Kentucky state nursing license
- A Ph.D. or DNP is required for teaching at the graduate level.
- A minimum of five years of nursing experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with collegiate teaching experience.
Candidates will be contacted based upon our needs each semester, determined by enrollment.
