About the Role - This Quality position will perform final inspections as well as support the manufacturing process. Create/maintain routings, templates, in process inspection sheets, etc.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include (but not limited to) ensure that products meet quality standards before they are shipped.
- Perform In-Process and Final Inspection of repairs and manufactured products for visual and dimensional characteristics, and verifying that they meet blueprints and specifications.
- Create necessary 3D scans, 3D models, and inspection forms for manufactured parts.
- Create FAI’s.
- Create certification packages to obtain customer shipping approval.
- Troubleshoot vendor issues.
- Perform remote visits (ZOOM, TEAMS) when onsite visits not possible.
- Provide assistance in the documentation of DER ESO, PMA or OOPP utilizing input from appropriate CMM or technical documentation.
- Provide input to Production and Product Development Manager to determine pricing.
- Create necessary Templates in Quantum or provide information to Administration group for that purpose.
- Communication: Reporting defects and issues to the production team, and collaborating with team members to improve processes
Qualifications
- Education: High School degree
- Experience: 5 years or more experience in inspection of parts and assemblies in a machine shop.
Required Skills
- 3D Scanning equipment and CAD software
- Read blue prints and drawings
- Working in an Aerospace Environment
- The ability to read and understand technical data, such as Repair Specifications, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and drawings.
- The ability to work with measurement and test equipment.
- Possess personal communication skills that enable ability to interact with all levels within Midwest Aero Support, Inc. and with customers

Preferred Skills
- Training: ISO9001/AS9100
- Familiar with FAA, Quantum
- Other: Possess the ability to repetitively lift 50 to 70 lbs.
- Competency: Ability to read, write and speak proper English, mathematical skills and computer literate
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Process & Flowchart Mapping
Pay range and compensation package - $25-$30/hour; medical, dental, vision, 401K, 10 holidays
Salary : $25 - $30
