Our company is seeking a Core/Mold Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the proper and safe production of cores, copes & drags using patterns and procedures to perform the required tasks. The Core/Mold Maker will utilize work instructions, follow procedures to install chills, locators, vents, risers, pack with sand, season and turn out product.
Responsibilities:
- Produce cores, copes & drags using patterns and procedures to perform the required tasks
- Follow work instructions and procedures to install chills, locators, vents, risers, pack with sand, season and turn out product
- Ensure all procedures are being followed and signed
- Keep the work area clean and free of obstructions
- Work with team members to ensure production goals are met
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed

Requirements:- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods of time and performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
