Midwest Alarm Services was founded in 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa. Per Mar Security Services acquired Midwest Alarm Services in 1998. Today, Midwest Alarm Services has 9 locations throughout the Midwest and is one of the largest Notifier Distributors in North America.
The Inspection Coordinator is responsible for coordination of Midwest Alarm Services inspections on a daily & monthly basis. This person will also be responsible with scheduling, organizing data & invoicing inspections.
This position will cover both Omaha and Lincoln offices so ideal candidates can be in either location.

What you’ll be doing:
- Getting inspections scheduled & billed during the month due
- Review previous day inspections in the Sedona schedule
- Upload reports to the portal &/or Brycer if applicable
- Maintain the Inspections inbox. Which includes responding to internal & external customer needs
- Send reports to techs for upcoming inspections weekly
- Create & schedule deficiency tickets
- Process subcontractor invoices
- Schedule monthly inspections for the following month
- Convert service inspection billings to recurring
- Backup the service dispatcher & inventory
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting with the Midwest Alarm Services internal/external customers (including, but not limited to: current customers, prospective customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, supervisors and management) in a mutually respectful manner regardless of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation and all other protected classes.
- As this position develops, the employee may be assigned additional duties or special projects as deemed necessary by management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Area Manager, General Manager or Operations Manager
What you’ll need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with computers including MS Word and Excel
- Must have ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Must have ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects effectively on a regular basis.
