Hiring for a Bilingual Spanish Medical Assistant, who is looking to work long term at our Elgin Illinois location.
Our clinic will also accept the following professionals with a phlebotomy certification with the understanding that you will be cross trained to do all aspects of the job.
- Patient Care Technician
- Phlebotomy Technician
- Certified Nurse Assistant
Our specialty is Allergy, Asthma, Clinical & Reproductive Immunology.
The ideal candidates must be outgoing, friendly, professional, honest, committed, reliable, mature and able to work as team-players to provide our patients' the best care possible.
REQUIRED:
- Must work set clinic hours.
- Mandatory Saturdays are required.
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Phlebotomy required.

- Live within 15/20 minutes or within a 10-15 mile radius of the clinic.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care under the direction of the physician.
- Room patients, vitals and update information into the EHR system.
- Administer immunotherapy, and biologic injections.
- Send prescribed medications.
- Perform blood draws, allergy testing and other lab testing.
- Maintain a clean, healthy and friendly environment.
- Perform other medical duties as assigned.
- Reception duties : answer phones, schedule appointments, and collect payments.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical - patient care
- Recent Medical Assistant externs encouraged to apply
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
- Phlebotomy certification required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Must be friendly, outgoing, willing to learn and adjust to changes.
- Computer skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Be professional, honest, committed, mature, reliable and have the ability to work as a team player.
