Audio Visual Team Member

Midwest AV Rental is looking for candidates of various technical aptitude and experience to join our team!

We are a full-service AV/IT company, offering dry rentals, full productions, commercial equipment installs, consulting, and more. Specializing in healthcare environments, live music venues, and conferences, our diverse portfolio of clients always brings an exciting new problem to solve. Midwest AV also specializes in working with LGBTQIA events, including Anime, Furry, and Adult shows. An ideal candidate is someone comfortable working in all kinds of environments!

We are looking for candidates with all levels of experience to join our call sheet when events or rentals require additional crew crew. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Warehouse team members, for prepping/de-prepping equipment
• Delivery drivers, including Class D non-CDL drivers AND Class C/B/A CDL drivers
• Setup/strike teams for dry rentals
• Stagehands and engineers for productions
• Console programmers and operators
• Certified riggers

This includes everybody in Audio, Lighting, Video, Scenic, and various other departments!

This is a W-2 role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent problem solving skills in high-pressure environments
• Work well in front of an audience and other stakeholders
• Ability to multi-task and keep track of multiple moving parts at once
• For delivery drivers, be comfortable driving vans and straight trucks, as well as comply with USDOT HOS & logging regulations (training provided)

Requirements & Working Conditions

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state ID or driver's license if driving
• Have access to reliable transit
• Be able to lift heavy AV equipment without assistance
• Flexible, on-call request basis
