Nature of Duties:
Performs various medical office tasks, including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, managing medical records, handling payments, and patient correspondence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred knowledge of scheduling, insurance, and billing.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to learn computerized office systems.
Specific Duties:
- Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments, check patients in/out, follow up on no-shows, and contact recall patients.
- Greet patients professionally and complete registration.
- Confirm physician schedules and assist with changes.
- Document patient flow and wait times.
- Collect co-pays, ensure insurance verification, and update demographic info for billing.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and provide Privacy Practices to patients.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Compensation: Pay starting at $17.8750. Pay will commensurate with experience
