What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Team Leader position at Midwest Cardiovascular Institute?
The Research Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing the clinical research program to support MCI’s medical mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and monitor all IRB proceedings, FDA audits, and related compliance activities.
- Coordinate the development and training of new clinical research protocols.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with research sponsors.
- Manage protocol budgets, enrollment, and utilization.
- Oversee clinical database management and related software.
- Hold monthly staff meetings and provide training to research staff.
- Prepare and manage both capital and operating budgets.
- Complete annual General Liability Insurance applications.
- Supervise study coordination and research staff, including scheduling and performance reviews.
- Perform other duties as required to support MCI’s mission and goals.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Compensation: Pay starting at $31.17.
