Nature of Duties:
Performs routine and advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures for cardiovascular practices.
Qualifications:
- Completion of accredited ultrasound or related program.
- ARDMS or CCI registry in Cardiac Ultrasound (eligibility considered).
- BLS certification required.
- Strong communication skills.
Specific Duties:
- Operates ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images, identifies abnormalities, and ensures optimal quality.
- Explains procedures, reviews data, performs exams, and records findings for physician review.
- Stays current with education, technical journals, and maintains certification (RDCS, RCS).
- Assists with scheduling, ensures patient comfort and safety.
- Creates accurate ultrasound reports in the EMR and supports patient flow.
- Maintains a clean work area, ensures equipment is operational, and restocks supplies.
- Coordinates with engineers and provides training as needed.
- Assists with staffing and other duties to support patient care and goals
Compensation: Pay starting at $34.37.
