JOB DESCRIPTION : CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE SUPERVISOR (Part-Time)
SALARY SCHEDULE : HOURLY / ADJUNCT $35-$40 / hr
DEPARTMENT : MDTC - ADULT CAREER DEVELOPMENT
FLSA STATUS : NON-EXEMPT
SAFETY-SENSITIVE : YES
POSITION SUMMARY :
MDTC's ACD department offers a short-term LTCNA course in the evenings 2-4 times a year. The course is offered in a hybrid format where in-person instruction takes place one night a week for 8 weeks along with a 16 hour clinical rotation. This position works closely with the LTCNA Instructor and program Coordinator to make sure students are properly taught the skills necessary for LTCNA licensure. The LTCNA Supervisor works to complete all required paperwork for each session, assists with instruction and coordinates and attends the students' clinical rotation.
Requirements include :
- Applicants must be able to keep student records organized and up to date.
- Applicants must be able to manage the classroom and keep students on pace with the required curriculum.
- Instructors are required to follow all COVID-19 safety precautions.
- Instructor must be tidy in appearance. Clean, well fitted scrubs are required. Hair and nails must be appropriate..
- Clear OSBI background check.
- Teaching experience appreciated but not required.

REASONING ABILITY :
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, schedule form, or blueprint form.
