Therapy Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapy Tech to join our team. In this role, you will support physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with patient services, ensuring a positive experience for those receiving therapy. This position is ideal for individuals who have a strong interest in healthcare and wish to gain hands-on experience in a clinical environment.

Duties

• Assist physical therapists with patient care activities, including preparing treatment areas and equipment.
• Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks as directed by the therapist.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
• Document patient progress and report any concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and rehabilitation practices.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is preferred to understand the therapeutic processes.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinic setting is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and care.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Must be able to follow instructions accurately and maintain attention to detail.
• A genuine interest in helping others improve their physical health and well-being.

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
