Responsibilities
The position offered is with the parent company, Midwest Capital Holdings and will have the following responsibilities typical of a senior accountant:
- Manage the month-end and year-end close.
- Post adjusting journal entries.
- Maintain schedules of adjustments/accruals.
- Calculate monthly adjustments for leases and fixed assets.
- Prepare all bank required documentation related to our line of credit.
- Forecast cash and the financial statements.
- Other duties that may be assigned in the future.
Qualifications
We are looking for a driven individual who can work in both individual and team settings. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. To excel in this role, you must have experience with the application of US GAAP, especially ASC 326, 606, and 842, as well as an understanding of forecasting and modeling. Experience within the Contracting and Construction industry, or related industries is not required.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
