Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our dynamic team at Midwest Digital Dental Lab. The ideal candidate will be responsible for digital designing and fabricating dental prosthetics and appliances, ensuring high-quality standards and precision in all work. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, laboratory practices, 3-D printing and understanding of its fabrication process and proficiency in ExoCAD software to create custom solutions for our patients. The owner of the lab is willing to train the candidate if lacking in 3-D printing understanding. Production incentives available as depending on volume and quality produced.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances using various materials.
- Utilize ExoCAD software to design and produce accurate dental models and restorations.
- Interpret prescriptions from dentists and ensure that all specifications are met.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including medical documentation and patient information.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to discuss treatment plans and address any concerns regarding patient care.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance service delivery.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Technician or similar role in a laboratory setting.
- Proficiency in ExoCAD software and familiarity with dental terminology.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Ability to understand vital signs and medical terminology related to dental procedures.
- Experience with medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as micrometers is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with dentists and other healthcare professionals.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
