Auto Body Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an essential member of our repair shop, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and restoration of vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about working with their hands and wants to take their skills to the next level.

Responsibilities:

- Perform all types of auto body repairs, including collision repair, bodywork, and auto restoration.
- Use power tools, welding equipment, and fabricating skills to assemble and repair metal components.
- Work with sheet metal to repair and replace damaged body panels.
- Utilize your knowledge of welding and fabrication to repair and restore damaged areas.
- Inspect and diagnose vehicle damage to determine the most effective repair method.
- Work with various materials, including steel, aluminum, and fiberglass.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and industry standards to ensure high-quality repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications:
- Some knowledge of auto body repair techniques, including welding and fabrication.
- Experience working with power tools and welding equipment.
- Familiarity with sheet metal repair and replacement.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- A passion for working with vehicles and a desire to continually improve your skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus opportunities
