Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Wichita, KS office. In this role, you will oversee significant and complex commercial projects, driving them to successful completion. You will be responsible for managing all project phases, from planning and execution to delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance. As a strategic and influential leader, you will foster strong collaboration among teams, build meaningful relationships with stakeholders, and embody Midwest Drywall’s core values.
Responsibilities:
• Effective management of the project team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and under budget
• Advanced knowledge of technical construction methods, cost impact analysis, estimating, purchasing and basic financial principles associated with the management of construction projects
• Drive continuous improvement in construction cycle times, managing costs, and delivering excellent value and quality to customers
• Foster a team environment to ensure that good communication, coordination of activities, and effective problem solving occurs
• Ensure adherence to the safety program by all construction personnel
• Build strategic relationships within the project team internally and externally
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and enforce established standards
• Embody the company’s mission, vision, culture, and values
• Lead the project with integrity, fairness, and honesty
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction science/management, or significant industry experience leading large and complex projects.
• Previous experience utilizing various construction computer technology systems
