RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule patients accurately and efficiently for all surgical procedures requested by Midwest ENT physicians.
- Responsible for ensuring all demographic information is entered correctly at the time of scheduling and verify and obtain prior authorizations if needed.
- Schedule post-op appointments and provide basic patient education.
- Responsible for providing patients with all necessary information regarding their procedure
- Document scheduled surgeries in the practice management system.
- Maintain effective and accurate daily physician surgery schedules.
- Serve as a contact for Midwest ENT for hospitals, surgery centers, and physicians regarding schedules, procedures, and concerns
- Responsible for being up to date on all insurance requirements and following all requested guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years’ experience in a specialty care setting preferred
- Experience with medical terminology and insurance preferred
