Oto Tech/Medical Assistant

An Oto Tech provides basic audiologic and immittance testing under the supervision of Ear Nose and Throat physicians in a medical clinic setting. After hire, applicant will be required to attend a 2 ½ day workshop at the Michigan Ear Institute. Workshop and travel expenses will be covered by Midwest ENT.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform Hearing tests and Tympanometry and Otoacoustic Emissions (OAEs)

• Perform Dix-Hallpike and Epley maneuvers as ordered by physicians

• Document procedure/test in patient chart

• Cleaning of testing equipment and work areas

• Keep necessary supplies stocked in work areas

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently

• High integrity, team player with patient service focus and flexibility

• Previous customer service experience

Desired Qualifications:

• CMA, MA, RMA, CNA, Surgical Technician

• Previous medical and or/Audiology experience

Travel is required for this position as Oto Tech services are needed at several of our office locations including Evansville, IN, Henderson, KY and Vincennes, IN.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
