Job Summary:
Provide assistance with patient care in a private practice ENT office setting. LPN or RN preferred. Certified Medical Assistant considered. Wage dependent on credentials and related experience.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Place patient in exam room for provider evaluation
- Obtain medical history
- Verify patient information
- Assist provider during examination and treatment
- Take vital signs
- Assist with procedure set up and process as directed by the treating provider
- Educate patients
- Complete records
- Maintain supplies, clean rooms and equipment, and stock rooms with required supplies
- Maintain and operate all clinical equipment, including calibration and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures
- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment
- Conduct business in a service-orientated manner that is attentive, cooperative, sensitive and respectful when dealing with patients, visitors and all colleagues
- Attend all meetings as required
- Complete required certifications and becomes proficient in clinic systems and procedures
- May assist with clerical activities related to appointment scheduling and patient intake, data verification, office communication and scanning of patient records
- Able to follow all rules in the Employee Handbook
- Perform other duties as assigned
