Job Summary
Midwest Electronic Specialties seeks a detail-oriented and well-organized Licensing Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that all licensing activities comply with local and state regulations and organizational standards. Previous knowledge of state and local regulations related to the video gaming industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
Licensing:
- Obtaining and maintaining all appropriate licensure as applicable and coordinating the reconciliation of any issues and/or problems
- Coordinating and submitting all applicable documents necessary for obtaining licenses
- Monitoring and report on local and state rules and regulations
- Maintain current and extensive knowledge of the laws and regulatory guidelines governing Terminal Operators
- Coordinate communication between key parties involved in various processes with licensing, e.g. customers, sales/account executives, regulators, government officials, service department, etc.
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the licensing program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct
- Manage day-to-day operation of the program
Administration:
- Answer general phone inquiries using a professional and courteous manner
- Reply to general information requests with accurate information
- Greet clients, suppliers, visitors to the company in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and coping
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Perform data entry and scan documents
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory information.
- In-depth knowledge of Illinois Gaming Board rules, regulations, and laws.
- Ability to work independently while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proven ability to follow instructions and complete tasks correctly the first time.
- High level of reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Resourceful and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong judgment, initiative, and ability to work in a confidential environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
