What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route / Logistics Coordinator position at Midwest Electronics Specialties, LLC?
The Route Coordinator is responsible for the coordinating and implementation of all movements regarding company-wide assets. This position must develop logistical plans to move assets on a daily basis within the regulatory oversight of the Illinois Gaming Board. Route Coordinator reports to the Director of Collections that reports to the President.
Logistics
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full refresh cycle of cash assets
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Strategically plan and manage logistics and transportation by coordinating daily routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, and efficiency
- Develop, changed and implement routes for company-wide asset collection and delivery
- Liaison to Scientific Games for equipment movement
- Responsible for official inventory for state regulatory records
- Develops Company logistics plans and adjusts for efficiency
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Comply with laws and regulations
- Trains employees on company policy and procedures
- Oversees and maintains accuracy and compliance with all required paperwork and execution of detail. Includes but is not limited to move requests, scheduling, NRT logs, route logs, vault and ATM balances
Required Skills
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret various forms of information
- Strong problems solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Reliability, accuracy and a background that demonstrates leadership is a plus
- Previous experience in logistics or route management is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $44,750.00 - $53,000.00 per year
