Service Technician (South Bend Territory)
Service Technician - Steady Work & Climate-Controlled Environment Year-Round!
Founded 30 years ago, Midwest Equipment Company is an industry leading distributor of quality commercial food service equipment, including Taylor soft serve freezers, slush machines and grills, Flavorburst, Broaster Pressure Fryers and Smokaroma cooking equipment. We are based in Fenton, MO (St. Louis suburb) with 42 technicians across our five-state territory: Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Northwest Arkansas. We have an immediate need for a Service Technician located in the Indianapolis, Indiana area to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial equipment at the customer's location.
What we offer:
- Great Money! Starting rate is $23/hr. - $25/hr. based on experience, with regular opportunity for overtime & drive time included!
- Great Schedule: Monday - Friday days, On-call rotation every 5 weeks

Ideal Candidate:
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and knowledge of basic refrigeration systems are preferred but not required. Factory training and, on the job training, is provided which includes riding along with a senior technician until ready to go solo.
- Commercial foodservice equipment repair experience is a plus!
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Technical school training a plus!
- Has a "knack" with all things mechanical (aptitude)
- Excellent customer service skills
- EPA Certification
- Likes ice cream and slushies!
