We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, drive business growth, and ensure exceptional customer service.
Position Summary:
The Branch Manager will work closely with ownership to develop and execute business strategies, manage financials, and oversee all aspects of branch operations. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong business acumen, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to operational excellence. The position is salaried and may require work outside normal business hours, including weekends and occasional after-hours emergency responses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with company leadership to develop and implement business strategies, budgets, and goals.
- Drive business development efforts to increase sales and expand market presence.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency in rental services, equipment maintenance, and customer interactions.
- Manage staffing, including hiring, training, and scheduling employees.
- Provide hands-on customer service, including answering inquiries, assisting with equipment selection, preparing rental contracts, and demonstrating safe equipment use.
- Supervise equipment maintenance and repairs, ensuring all tools and machinery remain in optimal condition.
- Maintain high standards for facility appearance, inventory management, and overall operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Handle occasional after-hours emergency calls and in-person responses as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in business management, preferably in the equipment rental, construction, or related industry.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with a track record of operational success.
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with small engines and equipment maintenance preferred.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience towing trailers up to 14,000 lbs. preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. regularly.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and periodic screenings during employment.
- Clear and fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Subject to a criminal background check.
