What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diagnostic Technician position at MIDWEST EYE CARE PC?
Midwest Eye Care is looking for a Diagnostic Technician at our locations Omaha (13500 California Street / 4353 Dodge Street) and Council Bluffs (715 Harmony Street).
Previous ophthalmic diagnostic testing experience is required for this position.
Fulltime Hours – 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday thru Friday
In this role you will:
- Review and document eye and medical history.
- Perform a variety of tests including visual fields, diagnostic retinal imaging, preoperative testing, Ultrasonography and other ophthalmic testing as needed.
- Prepare and position patient for diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Assist the physician with patient education pertaining to the treatment prescribed.
- Record patient charges for billing department.
