JOB DESCRIPTION
Midwest Facilities and Construction is seeking a Warehouse Worker. This position is responsible for all items that arrive, are stored, and depart from the facility. Additional duties will include using a lift truck or other material handling equipment to perform duties, including unloading and loading trucks, placing items in designated storage locations, and staging materials.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Receiving duties to include unloading, verifying and documenting damaged shipments.
- Groups and stores inventory in an orderly fashion.
- Prepares deliveries for pick up which includes wrapping, banding, and pelleting.
- Manages inventory and replenishes inventory when needed.
- Disposes for all debris appropriately and performs routine general building maintenance as needed.
- Performs fleet management duties as needed and schedules maintenance and repairs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office)
- Two years of material handling/warehouse experience preferred
- Has the ability to obtain a license for lift truck and warehouse equipment
- Familiar with smart phone equipment and software
- Self-motivated, highly responsible, good problem solving and organizational skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Standard warehouse with minimal temperature controls and occasional outdoor work
