Within these newly established positions, the Lead and Senior Accountant serve as crucial pillars of an expanding NA Controllership group and requires the capability of thriving in a high growth and evolving organization.
- Champion financial reporting processes and provide best in class support to manufacturing operations and external customers
- Partner with the business to assist in the review of sales agreements and contracts to assess revenue recognition impact
- Own and direct accountability for the accuracy and integrity of the reported revenue; complete required ASC 606 check list for all new sales agreements/contracts
- Support monthly financial reporting close processes in accordance with US GAAP, including preparation and/or detailed review of journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliations
- Develop, implement, optimize, and manage accounting processes to ensure operational excellence and scalability
- Partner with cross-functional business partners and third parties to foster working relationships, implement best practices, and drive continuous process improvement
- Prepare schedules used for accounting, management reporting, external reporting, audit, and tax purposes on an ongoing basis
- Prepare variance analysis and other reporting for senior management
- Support the year-end financial audit and tax preparation process with external auditors
- Support accounting process improvements including refinement and automation of close processes and reporting
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Implement accounting policies and procedures as company expands in to new and established markets
- Contribute to implementation of additional accounting modules and add on/new financials systems (automation/ERP)
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of successful corporate accounting experience with fluency in US GAAP and familiarity with ASC 606
- Advanced MS Excel skills with proficiency working with ERP systems
- CPA | MAcc/MSA preferred
- Team oriented with ability to collaboratively work with functional stakeholders and team members
- Ability to manage projects in an organized manner and demonstrates sound judgement
- Ability to work on-site
Salary : $100,000 - $135,000
