Midwest Finishing Systems is seeking a highly skilled CAD Designer to join our growing company.
Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We custom design and build all our pretreatment washers, dry-off and cure ovens, environmental rooms, conveyance systems, and controls to specific requirements.
CAD Designer Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Engineering staff to create a design required to complete the project.
- Facilitates and contributes to the development of project plans and designs.
- Collaborates with the Engineering group to change plans if problems arise.
- Majority time spent on 3d modeling, assembling, and drawing with SolidWorks software.
CAD Designer Requirements and Qualifications:
- A degree is preferred, but not necessary with the right experience level.
- Minimal travel will be required depending on the project.
- Proficient drafting skills
- Proficient in SolidWorks
- Proficient in Auto-CAD would be a definite plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
