Purpose of the Position:
- Ensures overall financial success of the restaurant through effective forecasting, budgeting, and financial management.
- Maintains compliance with all Hardee's standards, policies, and applicable laws.
- Oversees the hiring, training, and termination of management-level crew members, including managing payroll processes and status changes.
- Develops and maintains crew-member work and training schedules to ensure operational efficiency.
- Acts as the manager on duty, responsible for opening and closing the restaurant, handling cash, and ensuring security procedures are followed.
- Monitors profit and loss statements, develops strategies to improve all areas of financial and operational performance.
General to the Role:
- Upholds and enforces Hardee’s policies and standards.
- Utilizes necessary tools, forms, and logs to support shifts, ensuring tasks are executed effectively and result-oriented documents are generated for corrective actions.
- Manages deployment of crew members during shifts, ensuring exemplary customer service.
- Implements and utilizes a reward and recognition program to motivate crew members.
- Authorizes managerial functions such as discounts and time clock overrides.
- Maintains the cleanliness and operational status of the restaurant facilities.
- Achieves and maintains the status of a training restaurant, ensuring high standards in training and operations.
- Meets or exceeds "meets expectations" in all crew member and operations performance metrics.
- Completes other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Requirements for Success:
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple, constantly changing priorities.
- Self-driven, flexible, and energetic with strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and quickly adaptable to new technology systems.
- Able to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for work-related functions and training.
- A minimum of 5 years of restaurant management experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or equivalent professional training preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
