Job Title : Ag / Commercial Loan Operations Specialist I

General Function : Performs a variety of general to intermediate operational activities to assist and support the commercial and / or agricultural loan operations department. Responsibilities include pre-closing preparation items as determined in underwriting, processing of all documentation related to Midwest Heritage's new and renewed commercial and / or agricultural loans, collateral perfection, booking loans to the loan / core system, funding and servicing loans, and resolving compliance related issues.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsible for processing commercial and / or agricultural loans including preparing all loans submitted and assigned for documentation, reviewing to ensure that documents are accurate and complete, reviewing files for exceptions and adherence to bank policy and regulations.Coordinating all necessary pre-closing items including but not limited to appraisals, insurance, flood determinations, or items determined by underwriting, loan policy, or regulatory guidance.Preparing, reviewing, disbursing, booking, and servicing commercial and / or agricultural loans, authorizing and preparing documents (i.e. wire, cashier check, general ledger, etc.) for final disbursement of loan proceeds, booking loans in appropriate systems, filing documents to appropriate filing agencies, and ensuring compliance with reporting and regulatory standards.Providing exceptional customer service including corresponding, working with vendors or agencies, following up on data, closing loans, notarizing documents, and answering questions.Creating, analyzing, maintaining, and updating general to intermediate reports, collateral files, including scanning and accurately filing in appropriate systems.Daily monitoring of quality control items and following up with peers for corrections.Managing multiple different transactions, loan officers, appraisers, etc. in an efficient and organized fashion.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics :

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field with 3 years progressive experience in a related role OR Associate's degree in Business or related field with 5 years progressive experience in a related role.Physical Requirements :
This position is classified sedentary / light and requires the ability to sit for long periods of time.Visual requirements include : ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.Must be able to perform the following physical activities : sitting for long periods, talking (in person and by telephone), hearing and repetitive motions.Working Conditions :
The duties of this position are normally performed in a general office setting. This is a fast paced work environment.There is frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a day.Equipment Used to Perform Job :
