Learning and Development Facilitator
Midwest Holding LLC., a rapidly growing financial services holding company, seeks a team-oriented, hands-on, and energetic team player to join us as a Learning and Development Facilitator. We operate as a modern insurance-holding company focused on long-term growth. We aim to foster and cultivate our relationships to sell and administer annuity products through third-party independent marketing organizations (IMOs).
Summary/Objective
The Learning and Development Facilitator is responsible for the delivery of training programs aimed at improving employee performance and organizational effectiveness. They will assist the Learning and Development Manager in the design and development of training programs. This role plays a key part in creating a culture of continuous learning by facilitating engaging, interactive, and results-driven learning experiences across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strong communication skills, and a passion for employee development. This position is an in-person role located in Lincoln NE.
Essential Functions
· Facilitation of Learning Programs: Deliver interactive and engaging learning sessions, workshops, and training programs across a variety of topics, including leadership development, soft skills, technical skills, and compliance training.
· Curriculum Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and continuously refine training materials, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, best practices, and adult learning principles.
· Learning Assessments: Implement pre- and post-assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs and analyze data to make informed recommendations for improvement.
· Training Coordination: Partner with HR and business leaders to identify training needs and design programs that address skill gaps, career development, and succession planning.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, room reservations, and equipment setup.
· Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve the quality, relevance, and impact of training programs.
· Technology Utilization: Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning platforms to deliver blended learning solutions, including virtual classrooms and self-paced learning modules.
- Maintain accurate records of training attendance, completion, and evaluation results.
· Leadership Development: Facilitate leadership programs aimed at building high-potential talent and enhancing management capabilities across the organization.
· Compliance and Regulatory Training: Ensure all mandatory compliance training is delivered on time and tracked effectively in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
· Coaching and Mentoring: Provide one-on-one or group coaching to employees as needed, supporting individual development plans and career growth objectives.
Required Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field
· 1-3 years of experience in learning facilitation, instructional design, or adult education in a corporate environment.
· Proven ability to facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions using a variety of methods (e.g., experiential learning, role-playing, group discussions).
· Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
· Proficient with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence a diverse workforce.
· Experience with assessment tools, evaluations, and data analysis to measure training effectiveness.
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Technologically Savvy: Ability to leverage LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and virtual meeting software to deliver innovative and accessible learning experiences.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as needed.

Limited travel is expected for this position.
