Agent Licensing Associate/Coordinator
Summary/Objective
The Agent Licensing Associate/Coordinator plays a pivotal role in optimizing the agent onboarding experience, leveraging comprehensive knowledge of our suite of products and programs. This position is critical in ensuring a seamless integration of new agents into our operations by facilitating effective communication and coordination within the Policy Services Department. The Associate/Coordinator is entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining high standards of efficiency and excellence throughout the onboarding process, thereby directly contributing to the growth and success of our agent/IMO network.
Essential Functions
- Process new agent applications
- Conduct agent screening
- Enter paper applications into the e-application system
- Conduct new agent enrollment and onboarding, and verify agent training
- Use NIPR related services
- Pull and analyze assigned reports
- Partner with the team to meet and exceed the agent’s service expectations
- Assist with daily commissions
- Receive calls
- Other projects and tasks as assigned

To qualify at the Associate level, you must have:
- High School Diploma or AA Degree
- 1-year experience in a similar insurance/annuity- closely related role
- Or 6 months of experience internally
- Bachelor’s degree will be considered in lieu of experience.
- Candidates must possess strong attention to detail
- Must be proficient in using a computer
- Must have basic Excel knowledge
- Familiar with workflow management systems
To qualify at the Coordinator level, you must have:
- All Associate level minimum qualifications plus
- 2-year experience in a similar insurance/annuity- closely related role
- Or 6 months experience with direct agent contracting, licensing, or another closely related position.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and communicate with others. This may be over the phone, in person, or through email and messaging. The employee must be able to hear customers and agents over the phone. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk, and use their hands and fingers to work with the computer, phones, filing cabinets, paperwork, etc.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as needed to complete work and ensure operations/business is not interrupted or slowed.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.

Must be eligible to work in the United States.
