Job Title: Relationship Manager
Department: Midwest Taft-Hartley Services
Purpose
The relationship manager is tasked with managing Taft-Hartley and Union/Labor related client relationships and ensure client satisfactions. The relationship manager services as the main point of contact between clients and the organization, providing personalized service, financial services insight, and support with industry and community specific knowledge.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities to be performed with or without accommodation
· Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Taft-Hartley and Union/Labor related clients and contacts.
· Client Consultation: Provide expert consultation on trust service models, including investment management and banking solutions tailored to the needs of each client.
· Relationship Development: Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking, referrals, and participation in industry events.
· Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with trust service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
· Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including legal, compliance, investment management, and operations to deliver comprehensive solutions and exceptional service.
· Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on existing and prospective clients, evaluate current service model and opportunities for expansion / evolution, and recommend appropriate structures and strategies.
· Documentation and Reporting: Review and maintain governing documents and client reports ensuring accuracy and completeness.
· Client Education: Educate clients on trust services, investment products and industry trends and to empower them to make informed decisions.
· Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure adherence to compliance standards and mitigate risks.
· Client Retention: Develop strategies to enhance client retention, satisfaction, and loyalty through exceptional service delivery and proactive communication.

· Professional Development: Continuously expand knowledge of trust services, investment management, and industry trends through professional development activities, such as certification, training programs and seminars.
· Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
· Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of client information and transactions, maintaining high standards of service excellence and professionalism.
· Strong time management and organization skills
· Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, verbal and written
· Willingness to travel
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM-related software
Requirements
Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses required to perform essential functions
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or the equivalent industry work experience
· 5-10 years of sales and or relationship management experience
Work Environment and Physical Demands required to perform essential functions
· Moderate noise (business office with computers, phone, printers, light traffic)
· Ability to sit at a computer for an extended period of time
· Regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and telephone
Preferred Qualifications
· 10 years of relationship management experience within Institutional Trust Services
· Advance Degree
Salary : $160,300 - $232,700
