Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory management processes within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in order fulfillment, and a strong understanding of demand planning, and process improvement. This role is crucial for ensuring that our inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demands while minimizing excess stock.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely delivery of parts to production.
  • Update work orders to reflect parts used and restock any unused parts.
  • Enter shop requests for materials used in-house.
  • Analyze inventory levels and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
  • Identify improvements to enhance inventory management practices.
  • Conduct cycle counts.
  • Oversee and back up to the shipping and receiving process.
  • File claims for damaged incoming shipments.

Qualifications

  • Previous inventory experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, banding/strapping machine.
  • Knowledge of electrical terminology is a plus.
