Midwest Janitorial Service, is a well-established cleaning company looking for reliable and hard-working individuals to join our team as full Assistant Supervisors. These positions are ideal for anyone looking to gain supervision experience with continued advancement opportunities.
The position will have varied daily tasks depending on company needs but will include:
1. Starting crew at different locations and inspecting completed work
2. Assisting staff with cleaning accounts that are not staffed
3. Window cleaning
4. Performing last-minute client requests or extra tasks
5. Assist with training new staff
Previous maintenance/cleaning experience is preferred but will train.
The ability to work varied shifts is needed. A weekend rotation will be required.
Wage varies by facility/position assigned. Some facilities/positions offer a Performance/Attendance Bonus of up to $2.00 more per hour. The facilities/positions require a highly detailed, reliable person. Clients paying for this incentive expect the highest level of service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- General cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, dusting, and trash removal.
- Must be able to bend, twist, squat, lift 20 lbs. – 30 lbs. and be on feet the entire shift.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the branch office.
- Must pass a background check
- Must adhere to the company’s and client's safety policies to create a safe work environment for everyone.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- A high degree of professionalism
- Exceptional customer service skills as work is performed around our clients
- High attention to detail
- Reliable/Excellent Attendance
- Self-Motivated
- Valid Driver License
