Midwest Janitorial Service is looking to hire a full-time cleaner.
Position is Monday through Friday, Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and takes place in an office/industrial facility. The position is responsible for cleaning entrances, office areas, restrooms, break areas, trash removal, etc.
A qualified candidate must be self-motivated and responsible for arriving at the facility at the scheduled time and working the duration of the shift. Exceptional attendance, as well as great customer service, is required as work is performed around the client at all times. Facility requires a FOID card.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- General cleaning, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning, restroom cleaning, dusting, and trash removal.
- Must be able to bend, twist, squat, lift 20 lbs. – 30 lbs. and be on feet the entire shift.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from facilities
- Must pass a national background check.
- Must adhere to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment for everyone.
- Must have exceptional customer service skills as work performed may be performed around clients.

Wage varies by facility assigned. Facilities that offer a Performance/Attendance Bonus require a highly detailed, reliable person. Clients paying for this incentive expect the highest level of service.
