Midwest Janitorial Service, Inc. is looking to hire full-time floor technicians. The position will be responsible for maintaining carpet and hard surface floors at different facilities.
Primary Job Duties:
Scrubbing, stripping, buffing, refinishing or sealing different types of hard surfaced floors using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
Carpet cleaning using approved methods and chemicals.
Spot cleaning of carpets as needed.
Essential Job Functions/Qualifications:
Must be knowledgeable about the care of different types of commercial carpeting / flooring.
Must have working knowledge of chemicals used for different types of commercial carpeting/flooring.
Must have ability to operate machinery required for duties according to safety standards.
Must have ability to work with other crew members and be able to take direction from Supervisor.
Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the above job duties which includes lifting up to 75 lbs, pulling/pushing, bending, squatting, crawling and being on feet entire shift.
Previous experience is preferred but not required.
Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
Must be able to work varied shifts and weekends.
$18 - $22/hour depending on experience.
