Midwest Janitorial is seeking High Dusting Technicians to join our team! This role involves cleaning hard-to-reach areas using a 40-foot lift in industrial settings. If you have experience operating lifts and working at heights, we want to hear from you!
This position requires a background check and pre-employment drug testing.
The position is temporary and will take place for 15-20 weeks. Shift is Friday (2 pm -11 pm), Saturday, and Sunday (11 am - 9 pm). Opportunity to move to a cleaning position after project is completed.
The base wage is based on experience and will offer a $2/hour incentive for attendance, performance, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high dusting and overhead cleaning in a refrigerated warehouse
- Operate aerial lifts (up to 40 feet) safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the use of harnesses and PPE.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete cleaning projects on time.
Requirements:
- Experience in high dusting or industrial cleaning preferred (will train the right candidate).
- Must be comfortable working at heights.
- Aerial lift certification is a plus (we can provide training).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in dusty environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
