Looking for a part-time day position? You may have just found it! This position is the perfect job for someone who only wants to work Monday - Friday and be home in the early morning and late afternoon.
Midwest Janitorial Service, Inc. is looking to hire (1) part-time cleaning position to work four hours a day from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. You will mostly be cleaning entrances, restrooms, conference areas, and break areas. You will need to work around the client so excellent customer service skills is required. Must be flexible and proactive in taking care of things as needs arise. An example might be cleaning a conference room after a meeting is finished so it is ready for another group later in the day.
Position starts at $18.00/hr. ($17.00 $1.00 performance/attendance bonus)
Client required background and pre-employment drug test.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- General cleaning, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, dusting, and trash removal.
- Must be able to bend, twist, squat, lift 20 lbs. – 30 lbs. and be on feet the entire shift.
- Must be able to use an automatic floor scrubber
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility
- Must pass client background and drug testing
- Must adhere to the company’s and client's safety policies to create a safe work environment for everyone.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- High degree of professionalism
- Exceptional customer service skills as work may be performed around client
- High attention to detail
- Reliable/Excellent Attendance
- Self-Motivated
Wages vary by facility and shift. Facilities/Positions that offer a Performance/Attendance Bonus require a highly detailed, reliable person. Clients paying for this incentive expect the highest level of service.
