Midwest Landscapes is seeking an energetic team player to join our Maintenance Division as a Crew Leader. Typical Day begins at the shop with a brief morning meeting and daily jobsite details & instructions. Crew Leader is responsible for exceeding the expectations of each site, transporting a crew of 2-3 employees to and from jobsites, operating & maintaining equipment, training crew members, logging hours of crew members, and assuring seasonal / weekly tasks are completed efficiently and safely while maintaining clean sites.

Ideal candidate would be a punctual, confident, team-player who is driven and that can set the standards for others. Must be able to carry out verbal instruction on various different sites throughout the work week while ensuring that all work activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements :

• Minimum 2 years of crew leading experience or if you have been an assistant lead for a couple years and want to take the next step.
• Acceptable Driving Record
• DOT Health Card (current)
• Ability to pass drug / alcohol screening.
• Must be able to manage a 34-person crew running 40-50 hours per week with some Saturdays required.
• Time Management skills and being able to adhere to schedules and routes.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Must have good communication skills with management, employees, clients, homeowners, and production staff.
• Safety must be at the forefront of this candidates daily process. You must make sure all employees are working in a safe manner and keeping the property neat and organized.
• Ability to be a team player and assist where needed.
• Perform daily maintenance check lists on equipment.
