Warehouse Assistant
Midwest Livestock Systems, LLC

Job Summary:
The primary duties will, but are not limited to, loading, unloading, and physical movement of product inventory.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient warehouse facility. Clean, prepare and package hygiene products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reports to the Location Manager
- Normal hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
- Load and unload all inbound and outbound freight
- Operate forklift equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Put away and organize product in its designated location
- Record shipments received and report to office staff.
- Re-package hygiene products, including cleaning and preparing containers returned from customers
- Wash shells, load liners, clean and wash misc. equipment
- Manage warehouse inventory to maximize turnover and minimize unused product.
- Assist the Route personnel in processing inflations, inventory control and organization.
- Assist in preparing inventory for use by service, route and install technicians as directed by supervisor.
- Ship outgoing parts, as needed.
- Maintain close cooperation and communication with the route, sales, and installation teams to help assure customer satisfaction.
- Assist on service or installs in shop or on farm, as needed
- Pick up product from local vendors and deliver to shop or farms as directed
- Maintain and clean the warehouse shop and warehouse and outdoor area to reflect a positive image
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers.
- Good time management skills with a proven ability to get the job done
Education
- High School Diploma
- Forklift operation certification
- CDL a plus
- Dairy background and supply knowledge a plus.
