What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aircraft Maintenance Technician position at Midwest Manufacturing?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Menard Inc. Flight Department is looking for a certified A&P technician to join our team. This individual will be providing maintenance, inspection and repair to Cessna Citations and Embraer Regional Jets while maintaining a high level of dedication to service, safety and quality. Candidates should be resourceful and willing to learn, detail oriented, highly motivated, and take ownership of their work.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct inspections, repairs and modifications to airframes, engines and avionics systems during routine and non-routine maintenance inspections
- Identify and remedy defects noted during scheduled and non-scheduled inspections
- Properly follow manufacturer maintenance manuals and FAA Part 125 Approved Inspection Program
- Accurately complete and maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and inspection activities through the use of aircraft logbooks and CAMP Systems International software
- Document and maintain parts, tooling and equipment inventory
- Inspect and repair components including but not limited to aircraft wheels and batteries
- MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES: Will be required to perform other duties at the direction of Flight Department Management
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
- Meet the recency of experience requirements of 14 CFR § 65.83
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Ability to work and problem solve independently as well as part of a team
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and 80 pounds occasionally
- Be capable of standing, bending, crouching and stretching for prolonged periods of time
- Read and understand detailed schematics and wiring diagrams
