POSITION OVERVIEW:
The HVAC Controls Service Technician will maintain and develop existing customer relationships through quality service and support.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- On-site start-up technician
- Troubleshoot installation of control systems
- Solving issues using reasoning, logic, and voltmeter
- Communication with individuals who installed the system
- Communication with manufacturers
- Assist the owner’s representatives to demonstrate that the system has been set-up properly
- Documentation of actions taken on the jobsite to be included with project report
- Direct discussions with building owners to assist with ongoing maintenance and service
- Perform work on preventative maintenance agreements as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in HVAC related field or 8 years equivalent HVAC Controls related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have experience working on and understanding multiple BAS (Building Automation) systems including Niagra, JCI, Tridium.
- Self-starter, high level of initiative, proven proactive behavior.
- Commitment to customer service (internal and external).
- Perform quality work, highly detailed oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines without direct supervision.
- Interact professionally with employees, customers, and manufacturers.
- Ability to operate under pressure, deadlines, and the demands of an active jobsite.
- Proven technical aptitude and familiarity with the use of a voltmeter.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary : $38 - $50
