What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Coder - Full Time position at Midwest Medical Center?
Midwest Medical Center in Galena, IL is currently seeking a full time, clinic coder that will also be responsible for coding and auditing for our health clinic. This position is weekday hours, 40 hours per week. This position requires knowledge of medical billing and coding procedures, ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS. Attention to detail and effective communication skills are important to this position as well. Coding certification or Health Information Technology educaion, along with prior healthcare experience is required. This position is not a work from home/remote position at this time.
$24-$36/hr wage range, based on experience
