What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Team Administrator position at Midwest Mole?
Objective:
Midwest Mole is seeking an Equipment Team Administrator to join our team. The Equipment Team Administrator will play a crucial role in efficiently managing our vehicle and heavy construction equipment fleet. Reporting to the Equipment Manager, this position requires advanced computer skills to effectively document and track equipment information. The successful candidate will help to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, tracked, and accounted for to support our operations and our goal of a reliable and cost-effective fleet.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate closely with the Equipment Manager to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the vehicle fleet and heavy construction equipment, including acquisition, maintenance, repairs, and disposals
· Work in conjunction with the maintenance team, field operations, and outside vendors to schedule routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs for vehicles and equipment
· Assist with the development and maintenance of company telematics, maintenance, and operations software.
· Assist with team training initiatives
· Work with the Equipment Manager to develop dispatch procedures, repair procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, and other daily and task-oriented items to streamline the equipment department
· Confirm accuracy and approve invoices relating to equipment department expenses
Skills and Qualifications:
· Must work in a safe and efficient manner
· Timely and daily attendance is required
· Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast paced change-oriented environment
· Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
· Ability to keep track of large amounts of data
· Ability to learn specialized equipment
· Ability to work with various software
· Basic knowledge of preventative maintenance
· Basic knowledge of Heavy equipment
· Ability to work independently and with a group of people
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must have a clean driving record
· Must successfully pass a pre-employment and random Drug and Alcohol Tests
· Proven experience in equipment administration, fleet management, or a related field is a plus
