Entry Level Customer Service Tier I Support

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Customer Service Support Tier 1 for our Columbus, OH location. Responsibilities Our Customer Service Support Tier I role is the first point of contact for resolving customer issues, providing account documents, and maintaining records of interactions and resolutions. Responsible for serving as the first point of contact in the Credit & Collections department for customer inquiries via phone and email Answers incoming phone calls, resolves issues for customers and provides invoice and statement copies to customers upon request Updates customer accounts with payment arrangements, contact information and relevant notes from interactions Escalates accounts requiring further action to the appropriate team members or management, providing all necessary documentation and context Collaborates with internal teams, including sales, finance and marketing to address and resolve customer issue efficiently Provides superior customer service Qualifications Experience in a customer service support role preferred Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening Comfortable handling high call volume Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications High School diploma or equivalent Additional Information This is a Monday-Friday role.
