We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Teller to lead our teller team and ensure the highest level of service to our customers at both branches, Sandoval and Aviston.
Position Summary:
The Head Teller is responsible for leading and guiding the teller staff to ensure exceptional customer service. This role oversees the daily operations of the teller line, assists customers, and trains staff on various bank products and services. The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory experience in a banking environment and possess excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily teller line operations at both locations.
- Provide training and development for both new and experienced tellers.
- Monitor teller performance, offering feedback and coaching to enhance service and efficiency.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues.
- Ensure vault security and protect customer information.
- Investigate and report cash overages and shortages.
- Ensure teller staff is cross trained in all aspects of their roles.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal banking regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior supervisory experience in a banking environment.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of teller functions and bank products.
