Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our medical practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare management principles. This role is vital in ensuring the practice runs efficiently while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality patient care.
Duties
- Manage the overall operations of the practice, including financial management and fiscal oversight.
- Supervise staff, ensuring effective performance and adherence to policies.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Oversee medical office management functions, including scheduling, billing, and medical records management.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve patient care services and A.
- Coordinates the development, negotiation, implementation and compliance of agreements and/or contracts
- Maintains knowledge in, and advises Practice Physicians on all new Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payor initiatives.
- Coordinates and shares in the presentation of the semi-annual physician business meeting.
- Address patient concerns and feedback to enhance service delivery.
Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Healthcare Administration or Business required.
- Proven experience in healthcare management or a similar role within a medical setting.
- Working knowledge of physician/healthcare reimbursement trends and personnel management.
- Familiarity with critical care processes and managed care systems.
- Experience supervising staff in a medical office environment.
- Proficiency in managing medical records systems and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
