Inventory Control Specialist - 1st Shift

The Warehouse Lead is responsible to support the Warehouse Supervisor as he/she manages all aspects of warehouse floor operations.

General Accountabilities include:

• Directing the Work Activities of Warehouse Employees
• Provide Input on Disciplinary Issues
• Training of Employees
• Controlling Housekeeping Activity
• Monitor & Implement Inventory Control
• Insure Food Safety & GMP’s are Adhered to by Staff
• Assist with Required Documentation
• Expected to Work Additional Shift to Cover other Lead’s Vacations & PTO
• Expected to Help Cover for the Supervisors’ Vacations & PTO
Perform Regular Warehouse Duties
• When Time Allows
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Positive Attitude
• Basic Computer & Math Skills
• Ability to Read/Write in English
• Ability to Follow & Give Instructions Effectively
• Ability to Function & Lead Effectively in a Team & Fast Paced Environment
• Ability to Work with Different Levels of Management

Prerequisites:

• High School Diploma ( or equivalent)
• Experience Operating Forklift or Pallet Jacks (preferred)
• Previous Experience with RF Controlled Inventory Systems
• Previous Experience Handling Food Products (a plus)
