What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tasker - Sunday to Wednesday, 7AM-5PM position at Midwest Refrigerated Services?
This position is primarily responsible for the daily activities of the shipping and receiving office and it interacts with all staff members and will be required to float between the different activities in the shipping office as customer activity and the needs of the company dictate. General Accountabilities include:
- Regular punctual attendance is a requirement of this position
- Knowledge of and adherence to all personal safety, food safety and food defense training and policies

- Perform regular warehouse duties and other duties as assigned by management
- Assign inbound/outbound delivery appointments to on-shift forklift operators
- Utilize WMS systems to allocate loads & manage warehouse inventory
- Manage paperwork flow between shipping & receiving
- Assist with check-in drivers & direct them to a door for unloading/loading
- Assist with removing/placing/verifying seals on trailer doors as needed
- Accurately process paperwork in the computer system
- Ensure proper E-filing
- Ability to work in a range of temperatures
- Ability to read/write in English
- Basic math/computer skills
- Ability to follow & give instructions effectively
- Ability to function & lead effectively in a team & fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Strong phone skills/etiquette
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
